SomaForex is a multi strategy breakout Expert Advisor developed for MetaTrader 5, combining 34 independently configured trading strategies into a single automated portfolio. Designed to operate across EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDJPY, it provides diversified exposure to three major currency pairs through one Expert Advisor running on a single chart. Instead of depending on one trading setup or a single market condition, SomaForex combines multiple breakout approaches across different timeframes and trading configurations.

The portfolio consists of eight EURUSD strategies, eleven GBPUSD strategies and fifteen USDJPY strategies. Each strategy operates independently with its own magic number, trading timeframe, swing detection parameters, breakout breadth, exit configuration, news protection settings and lot sizing adjustments. All strategies share the same execution engine while maintaining independent trading logic. This structure allows different components of the portfolio to identify opportunities under different volatility conditions without requiring traders to manage multiple charts or separate Expert Advisors.

SomaForex was developed through an extensive optimization and validation process using two complementary historical data ranges. The first optimization range covers 2016 to 2026, with an out of sample validation period from 2007 to 2015. The second covers 2007 to 2015, with validation from 2016 to 2026. This cross validation approach evaluates the selected strategies against historical periods outside their respective optimization windows. Only 34 strategies were selected for the final portfolio after the optimization process.

The portfolio incorporates five trading timeframes, including H1, H4, H8, H12 and D1. It also uses three breakout breadth configurations. Broad configurations identify wider market swings and generally produce fewer setups, while medium and narrow configurations provide alternative breakout sensitivities and trading frequencies. This combination creates diversification across currency pairs, timeframes and market behaviour.

Risk management and position sizing are central components of SomaForex. Traders can choose between fixed manual lot sizing and automatic lot calculation based on account balance or equity. Additional controls include a global risk multiplier, maximum lot restrictions, minimum lot placement checks and currency conversion settings for different account currencies. Margin call protection is enabled by default and can automatically scale portfolio exposure according to available free margin.

The Expert Advisor also includes an integrated US economic news filter covering Non Farm Payrolls, Consumer Price Index and Federal Reserve interest rate decisions. Depending on individual strategy settings, it can block new entries,
