Gold Beaver EA Review (2026): A 13-Preset Gold EA With a 94% Win Rate, a Payoff of 0.32 and a 'Limited Offer' Price
By Benjamin Lee · Updated · 21 min read
Gold Beaver is a gold Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that you attach to any XAUUSD chart on any timeframe and that starts trading with a default preset called Combo Safe. It bundles 13 presets in one file, a tool that ranks them on your own broker, a prop-firm guard and a stop loss on every position, and it costs $449 with a message that ten copies remain at that price. Its linked live signal wins 94 trades in 100. It also loses 18.60 USD on an average loser against 5.91 USD on an average winner, and it is 23 weeks old. We read the listing and its nine reviews, checked the signal line by line and scored Gold Beaver on the same eight criteria as every verdict here. The result is 48.8 out of 100 and a Medium risk label: a feature-rich product whose public proof is still too small to carry a high score.

Key takeaways
- Gold Beaver scores 48.8 out of 100 (band: Weak) with a Medium risk label. It has a verified signal and a thoughtful feature set, but only 114 trades over 23 weeks on a very small account.
- The linked signal (MQL5 signal 2375536) shows +411% in 23 weeks on 114 trades, a 93.85% win rate and a profit factor of 4.86. It started with 60 USD, took 117.57 USD of deposits and ended with 679.44 USD, so the dollar profit is 501.87 USD.
- The average winner is 5.91 USD and the average loser 18.60 USD, a payoff ratio of 0.32. Seven losing trades are too few to show how the system behaves in a bad month, and MQL5 notes that 80% of the growth came within seven days.
- The platform's drawdown figures are 14.3% by balance and 18.2% by equity, with a maximal balance drawdown of 20.0%, on a 60 USD start. The seller's rating is 3.5 from 134 votes, the lowest of the sellers in this series.
- We sell a listing for Gold Beaver. It shows version 5.57 like the Market, but ships the compiled file without a setfile or manual. Treat it as a separate purchase with its own price and terms.
- 48.8 / 100
- weighted verdict score on eight published criteria
- 93.85% win, 0.32 payoff
- win rate and average win over average loss on the vendor's 23-week signal, 114 trades
- $449

The verdict at a glance: a polished product with a very young record
Gold Beaver earns points for how much it lets a buyer check. The Strategy Rank panel compares every preset on your own broker over the last 7, 14 or 30 days, the equity view shows each preset's curve and worst dip before you switch, and the prop-firm guard enforces a daily and a maximum loss. It loses points on the evidence. A signal of 114 trades with seven losers describes a hit rate, not a loss distribution, and the system's payoff shape makes the missing losers matter. The scorecard and radar show how the total was built.

What Gold Beaver actually is
Gold Beaver is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, sold on the MQL5 Market by Arnold Bobrinskii of Russia, a self-described financial-markets bot developer with 12 years' experience, whose seller profile shows a 3.5 rating from 134 votes, 11 products and 3 signals. It was published on 31 May 2026, showed version 5.57 and was last updated on 28 October 2026, with 5 activations per licence and a rating of 4.43 from 9 reviews. It trades XAUUSD on any chart and timeframe: signals are evaluated on M15 candle boundaries, so the listing says testing on OHLC M1 is enough, and it is 'not HFT'.
The listing's central design statements are specific. Every position gets a stop loss the moment it opens, and there is no martingale, no grid and no averaging. The strategies were built with 'a custom Python research engine that runs separately from the MT5 tester' and 'checked across 2020-2026 market periods'. The EA ships 13 presets, tagged CONS, BAL or AGG: three conservative high-win-rate sets, six balanced sets of which Combo Safe is the default, three aggressive sets, and 'GOLD ALL', which runs every strategy at once. An optional smoothing mode (Default, Smooth, De-Overlap or Max) reduces stacked exposure using the same signals. The EA rebuilds its open orders and pending levels after a restart, scales lots by balance, and works on any account currency.

How we judged it, and who has something to sell
Evidence on EAs is never neutral. Here is every party near this product and what each stands to gain, ours included.
- The developer sells the EA and its siblings, sells signal subscriptions (999 USD a month on the signal, with no subscribers shown) and runs the Telegram community. His record is public, which counts for something, and it is also his sales page.
- MQL5 and MetaQuotes host the Market, the reviews and the signals. The signal statistics and the notice about the leverage change are the platform's own.
- Buyers who wrote reviews are three in the part of the page we could read, all positive and all within three weeks of each other. Testimony, not data, and none can be checked from outside.
- ForexCopilotEA sells a listing for this EA. We gain if you buy it, which is why this verdict opens with that fact and applies the same rules as every other.
Evidence ladder: what each rung of proof held for Gold Beaver
Grade A: Independent proof
- MQL5 signal 2375536, 'Gold Beaver': platform-built statistics for 23 weeks and 114 trades. The vendor runs the account, so his interest is noted, but the figures are computed from broker history and the platform's notices are its own.
- MetaQuotes and Myfxbook documentation, used for how testing reports and verified records work.
Grade B: Checkable vendor material
- The Market listing: version, price, the preset table, the inputs, dated reviews and replies.
- The free demo, which runs in the Strategy Tester only, and the public community.
Grade C: Claim only
- 'Checked across 2020-2026 market periods' by a Python research engine: no output is published.
- 'Better than Gold Reaper', from one review: an opinion with no comparison data.
- 'Calmest equity' and 'high win rate' preset descriptions, which are the vendor's characterisations.
Grade D: Conflicted, anonymous or unverifiable
- Positive reviews that praise support and say they are waiting to see the performance; they may be genuine and are not independently checkable.
- '10 copies left at this price': a sales message, not a measure of quality.
What the live signal shows, number by number
A platform-computed signal is the best public evidence a vendor can show. It still has limits: the vendor runs the account, the broker is one broker, the record is short and tiny, and the page itself notes that the leverage was changed once within the range 1:500 to 1:1000. With those limits in mind, here is what the Gold Beaver signal shows on 29 October 2026.
| Statistic | Value |
|---|---|
| Started, age | 28 May 2026, 23 weeks |
| Initial deposit, deposits, withdrawals | 60.00 USD, 117.57 USD, 0.00 USD |
| Growth, profit, balance | +411.43%, 501.87 USD, 679.44 USD |
| Trades, win rate | 114 trades, 93.85% (107 wins, 7 losses) |
| Profit factor, expected payoff | 4.86, 4.40 USD per trade |
| Average win, average loss | 5.91 USD, minus 18.60 USD |
| Best, worst trade | 125.93 USD, minus 24.47 USD |
| Longest winning, losing run | 41 wins (125.23 USD), 2 losses (minus 40.62 USD) |
| Maximal drawdown by balance | 60.00 USD, 19.97% |
| Relative drawdown by balance, by equity | 14.33% (59.90 USD), 18.20% (17.62 USD) |
| Recovery factor, Sharpe ratio | 8.36, 0.30 |
| Trades per week, average hold | 11, 1 hour |
| Trading days, activity, deposit load | 33 days (21.15%), 4.03%, 11.02% |
| Monthly growth, annual forecast | 13.99%, 169.70% |
Four details deserve a careful read. First, the size: a 60 USD start with 117.57 USD of deposits means the whole profit is 501.87 USD, and the percentage is large only because the base is tiny. Second, the concentration: MQL5 states that 80% of the growth was achieved within seven days, 4.49% of the 156 days of the signal's life. Third, the payoff. With a win rate of 93.85% and winners of 5.91 USD against losers of 18.60 USD, the expected payoff is 0.9385 times 5.91 minus 0.0615 times 18.60, which is 5.55 minus 1.14, or 4.40 USD per trade. The edge is the hit rate. If the win rate fell to 85%, the expected payoff would fall to about 2.2 USD, and at 76% it would reach zero.
Fourth, the loss sample. There are seven losing trades in 114. That is enough to say the system loses rarely so far, and far too few to say how big or how clustered its losses can get. The worst trade was minus 24.47 USD, yet the average loss is 18.60 USD, which tells us the losers are almost all near the stop. A high-win-rate system with a payoff of 0.32 can run for months and then give back many weeks of profit in a few days when the market changes character. The listing's own preset names, such as 'HiWR' for high win rate, describe exactly this trade-off.

How a high-win-rate gold system makes and loses money
A system that wins 94% of the time and loses three times as much on a loser as it earns on a winner is selling insurance: it collects a steady small premium and pays out occasionally. On gold that is possible because intraday price often snaps back a little before a stop is reached, and a tight take profit captures that bounce. It fails when gold moves hard in one direction and the trades pile up on the wrong side, which a 13-preset product with a 'GOLD ALL' mode can do at several scales at once.
- Martingale
- Grid
- Trend
- Scalper
The Strategy Rank tool is the product's most interesting feature, and a double-edged one. Ranking presets on your broker over the last 7, 14 or 30 days lets you see which one has done best lately, which is a measure of recent fit. Switching to the leader is a form of performance chasing: the preset that led last month is not the one that will lead next month, and a buyer who switches often will run the system's equivalent of an over-optimised strategy. Use the ranking to rule presets out, not to pick a winner.
Interactive: win rate is not edge
- Expected result per trade
- +0.35
- Profit factor
- 1.64
- Break-even win rate
- 33%
At these numbers the system has a positive edge before costs. Add spread, commission and slippage per trade and re-check.
Risk: a stop on every position, and losers three times the winners
Gold Beaver is a better-behaved design than a grid. Every position has a stop, nothing is added to a loser, and the worst single trade on the signal was minus 24.47 USD. That keeps the label at Medium and not High. The risks that remain are the ones a high-win-rate, low-payoff system carries.
- Negative skew. The average loser is 3.1 times the average winner. Twenty winners are erased by about six or seven losers, and a bad week can contain that many.
- A thin loss sample. Seven losing trades cannot show the tail. Expect real losses to be larger and more clustered than the signal suggests.
- Minimum-lot risk. The listing says small accounts trade the broker minimum lot, a higher risk per trade. A 60 USD account at 0.01 lot of gold is highly exposed, and the signal's 20% drawdown on that base is an example.
- Preset risk. Aggressive presets and 'GOLD ALL' stack exposure; the smoothing options reduce it but do not remove it. The signal does not tell you which preset it runs.
- Version risk. The product moved to version 5.57 in five months. A signal records what one version did; check the version you will receive against the one you tested.

What buyers say
The listing shows a rating of 4.43 from 9 reviews. We could read three, all from October 2026. One, from 24 October, is an enthusiastic review of the strategy, risk features and support that ends 'look forward to testing its full potential', which means the reviewer has not yet seen the performance. One, from 9 October, says 'very good EA' and 'better than gold reaper'. One, from 8 October, says the buyer 'just bought the EA', that the author is helpful and 'now let's wait regarding the performance'. All three praise the developer, and none reports a result.
Two cautions apply. A review written on the day of purchase is a review of the purchase, not of the product. And the comparison to another seller's EA is an opinion with no data. We weigh these as signs of good support, which is real, and not as evidence of performance, which will take months to appear.
Price: $449, a countdown and a free demo
The Market price on 29 October 2026 was $449, with the listing saying the next price is $499 and ten copies remain at the current one. A countdown like this is a sales device. It rewards fast decisions, which is the opposite of what a 23-week-old record requires. The free demo, which has 1,939 downloads, costs nothing and lets you run the preset ranking and the tester on your own data. A buyer who spends two weeks on it loses at most the price step and avoids paying for a preset that does not suit their broker.
Remember the other costs: a gold account with a spread the filter will accept, swap if you hold overnight, and the time to learn 13 presets. The listing says no low-latency VPS is needed, but an always-on connection is still sensible. If you buy from a source other than the Market, such as our own listing, the price, version and delivery are different. Our listing is a separate purchase with its own terms, shows the same version as the Market, 5.57, and ships the compiled file without a setfile or manual, so read what is included before you pay.
Reading the 13 presets without fooling yourself
Thirteen presets in one file is a lot of choice, and choice has a cost. Each preset is a different bundle of strategies, and the listing groups them by temperament: conservative sets with fewer trades and a high win rate, balanced sets with moderate activity and a steady curve, aggressive sets with more trades and bigger swings, and GOLD ALL, which runs everything. A buyer who tries all thirteen on a demo and keeps the best-looking one has performed a small optimisation, and the winner of an optimisation is the preset that fitted the last few weeks best, not the one that will do best next.
A better routine is to decide on a risk budget first, then pick the temperament that fits it, then test only the presets in that group. If you can accept a 10% equity drawdown, the conservative and balanced groups are the ones to compare; the aggressive group is described by the vendor as accepting 'deeper dips'. Run each candidate in the tester on real ticks over at least 2020 to 2026, look at the worst month and the longest losing streak and not the total profit, and write those two numbers down before you look at the live ranking. Then use the Strategy Rank panel for what it is good at: showing that a preset which looked fine in the tester is behaving very differently on your broker's gold quote this month, which usually points to spread or execution, not to the strategy.
Finally, keep one preset for a long time. The signal we scored shows one stretch of 23 weeks for one preset; a buyer who changes preset every fortnight never builds a record of their own and cannot tell a bad preset from a bad month. If the Prop Firm Guard is on and the lot is sized to the average loss, the cost of waiting is small, and the benefit is that after three months you will have your own evidence, which is worth more than any signal on a vendor's page.
The score, criterion by criterion: 48.8 out of 100
| Criterion | Score | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verified evidence (weight 20) | 4.5 / 10 | 9.0 | One platform-built MQL5 signal at a live account, 23 weeks old with 114 trades; but the vendor runs it, it started with 60 USD plus 117.57 USD of deposits, 80% of its growth came in seven days and the leverage was changed during the run. |
| Risk and drawdown behaviour (weight 20) | 4.5 / 10 | 9.0 | A stop on every position and no grid or martingale stated, but a 93.85% win rate paired with an average loss 3.1 times the average win, a 20% balance drawdown on a tiny account and an 11% peak deposit load. |
| Profitability quality (weight 15) | 5.5 / 10 | 8.3 | A verified profit factor of 4.86 and an expected payoff of 4.40 USD per trade; but only 7 losing trades in the sample, so the loss side is barely measured, and a payoff ratio of 0.32. |
| Sustainability (weight 15) | 4.5 / 10 | 6.8 | Version 5.57 within five months of launch shows fast iteration; but 13 presets, a seller rating of 3.5 from 134 votes and a Python research process that cannot be inspected make the design hard to judge. |
| Transparency and trust (weight 10) | 4.5 / 10 | 4.5 | A transparent feature list and a developer who answers; against that, a price countdown ('10 copies left at this price'), a review that compares it to a rival product and a research-engine claim with no published output. |
| Practical fit (weight 10) | 6 / 10 | 6.0 | XAUUSD on any chart and timeframe, not HFT, no low-latency VPS needed, a Prop Firm Guard and restart-safe order rebuilding; small accounts trade the broker minimum lot at a higher risk per trade. |
| Cost and value (weight 5) | 4.5 / 10 | 2.3 | $449 and rising by $50 with sales against a six-month, tiny-account record; a free demo with 1,939 downloads is the mitigation. |
| Support and usability (weight 5) | 6 / 10 | 3.0 | A Telegram contact, a public community and channel, replies to reviews and free updates for owners; the community and signal belong to the vendor. |
The total is 48.8 out of 100. The grade A on evidence is earned by a platform-built signal; the score stays at 4.5 because it is 114 trades long, started on 60 USD, concentrates its growth in seven days and is run by the vendor. Risk, at 4.5, gets credit for a stop on every position and loses it for the payoff shape and a drawdown near 20% on a tiny account. Profitability is the strongest of the heavy criteria and is held back by the seven-loser sample.
Who Gold Beaver fits, and who it does not
- It fits a trader who wants a configurable gold EA with a prop-firm guard, is happy to run a demo for weeks, starts on the default Combo Safe preset and sizes the lot to the average loss.
- It does not fit anyone who needs a long verified record before paying, who will chase the top-ranked preset each week, or who cannot tolerate a few losing days that erase several weeks.
- It is risky for prop-firm challenges unless the guard is on and the lot is small: a payoff of 0.32 can breach a daily limit in one bad session.
- It is a poor choice for a buyer who is paying mainly because ten copies remain at the current price. Run the demo first.
How it compares with other gold EAs we have scored
Gold House and Gold Snap are gold breakout systems with older and larger signals and lower win rates; Gold Beaver trades the opposite way, with a very high win rate and a small payoff. Its 48.8 reflects a younger and smaller record than either. The reviewer's comparison with Gold Reaper is an opinion: Gold Reaper has a different design and a longer record, and we score each on its own evidence. For how these system types differ, see our strategy comparison and our gold EA category.
Questions to put to the developer before you pay
- Which preset does the signal run, and is it the default Combo Safe?
- Can you publish the research engine's output or a real-tick tester report for each preset?
- What is the largest loss and the longest losing streak you have seen on any account, and at what lot?
- Why was the signal's leverage changed, and how did the change affect the results?
- What do you advise for a 500 USD account: preset, lot and guard settings?
- How do the aggressive presets and GOLD ALL behave in a strong one-way gold move?
- Will the price go up on a schedule, and what happens to existing owners' updates?

Frequently asked questions
Is Gold Beaver EA legit?
It is a real, actively updated product with a documented feature set, a public signal with 114 trades, a Telegram community and a developer who answers questions, rated 4.43 from 9 reviews on the MQL5 Market. We do not allege wrongdoing. Its record is 23 weeks old on a tiny account, which is why it scores 48.8 out of 100 with a Medium risk label.
Does Gold Beaver use martingale or a grid?
The listing says no martingale, no grid and no averaging, and that every position gets a stop loss the moment it opens. The signal is consistent with that: its worst trade was minus 24.47 USD. We cannot read the code, so this rests on the listing and the signal.
How much does Gold Beaver cost?
The MQL5 Market price on 29 October 2026 was $449, with a stated next price of $499 and a free demo. A gold account and a stable connection are extra. Sellers differ in price, version and delivery, so read the terms of whichever seller you use.
Which Gold Beaver preset should I use?
The listing recommends Combo Safe, the default, for starting out, and Combo Safe or HiWR-V3 with the Prop Firm Guard on for a prop-firm challenge. The signal does not say which preset it runs, so run the demo and the Strategy Rank on your own broker before choosing.
What drawdown does Gold Beaver have?
On the vendor's signal the relative drawdown was 14.3% by balance and 18.2% by equity, with a maximal balance drawdown of 20.0%, on an account that started with 60 USD. Only seven trades lost, so the signal says little about a bad month.
What is the minimum deposit for Gold Beaver?
No minimum is stated. The listing says small accounts trade the broker minimum lot at a higher risk per trade, and the panel suggests a lot for your balance and preset. Start with a balance that fits the suggested lot and test on demo first.
How was the score calculated?
Eight weighted criteria (evidence 20, risk 20, profitability 15, sustainability 15, trust 10, fit 10, cost 5, support 5), each scored out of ten against written anchors. Sources are graded A to D and unverified claims cannot count as proof. We sell a listing for this EA, which is disclosed at the top. The total here is 48.8 out of 100.
